Adel
Actually, the test I’ve taken has given me a B1 level, instead after three classes, the teacher has told me that my level is C1.

Hi Adel.
The best way to achieve a C1 level is to have more practice, mainly in the 4 core areas of English - listening, speaking. reading and writing.
Afterwards, taking a comprehensive English test can help you assess how much you have improved.
Best regards!

Dear Adel
Tutors are trained to assess students. We measure students language abilities according to the CEFR framework.
The best for you would be to ask the tutor, why she says you are at level C1.
Suggest to her to give you an alternative placement / level test.
If she is not able to you are welcome to book a lesson with me so that I may assess you and give you an alternative test to the Preply Placement test.

FAQs
How can I improve my English from B1 to C1? ›
This means reading, listening to, and watching English content on a regular basis. It is also helpful to practice speaking and writing in English as often as you can. Another tip for increasing your level is to focus on improving your grammar and vocabulary.
How long does it take to get from B1 to C1 English? ›Level of English (CEFR) | Number of hours of instruction |
---|---|
A1 to A2 | 150 hours |
A2 to B1 | 300 hours |
B1 to B2 | 200 hours |
B2 to C1 | 200 hours |
You can certify your C1 level of English by taking the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or the C1 Advanced. You can also choose the C1 Business Higher, the IELTS, the TOEIC, the TOEFL, or the Aptis, among others.
How do I get from B1 to C2? ›- At B1, you should start becoming an independent user of English. ...
- Think in English. ...
- Use your English. ...
- Stop studying English and start learning it. ...
- As you become independent in English, you will move closer to reaching C1 (advanced English) and, eventually, C2 (proficient English, essentially fluent).
The answer is yes! You will need to work a lot harder and be serious about your preparation for the C1 Advanced exam. While the B2 First shows you have a good grounding in English, the C1 Advanced is closer to the level of a native speaker.
Is B1 a fluent level? ›Level B1 corresponds to independent users of the language, i.e. those who have the necessary fluency to communicate without effort with native speakers.
